The final conference of the three-year international project “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (Erasmus+ T-GREEN) took place in Yerevan. A delegation from Eurasia International University (EIU), led by Rector Suren Ohanyan, participated in the event.
It is important to emphasize that Eurasia International University serves as the co-coordinator of this strategic program, further validating the university’s commitment to modernizing the educational system and implementing international best practices.
The conference brought together Armenian and European partners to summarize the project’s key achievements. The primary objectives were to:
Support higher education reform in Armenia.
Develop green and sustainable educational curricula.
Enhance the quality and competitiveness of education.
Promote international cooperation and student mobility.
During the official opening ceremony, Susana Martins, representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, highly praised the successful implementation of the project and its positive impact on the educational system. Manuk Barseghyan, Rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA), also delivered welcoming remarks, highlighting the role of international partnerships in the modernization process. He noted that new Master’s programs meeting international standards have already been developed and launched within the project’s framework.
Throughout the conference, European and Armenian partners:
Visited various universities and laboratories.
Explored innovation centers.
Discussed initiatives focused on educational development and sustainability.
The overall management of the project was carried out by the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia in collaboration with partner universities.
The Erasmus+ T-GREEN project has made a significant contribution to developing modern, green, and sustainable Master’s education in Armenia, helping to shape specialists prepared for the challenges of the future.
