POSIG in Action: Sharing Teaching Experience

We were pleased to host Dr Milka Dimitrovska from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM), North Macedonia, for a teaching visit at Eurasia International University.

The teaching activity was implemented within the framework of the EU co-funded Erasmus+ JoPSciP project, which has established the Joint Master’s Programme “Political Science: Integration and Governance” (POSIG). During the lectures, students explored the challenges and opportunities of EU enlargement through the lens of EU Cohesion Policy, regional development, sustainability, and European integration processes.

Through interactive discussions and comparative analysis of the Balkan and Caucasian regions, students gained deeper insights into the role of EU policies in promoting sustainable development, institutional reforms, and regional cooperation. Particular attention was given to the European Green Deal, pre-accession instruments, and the readiness of candidate and neighbouring countries to adapt to European standards and practices. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange, enriching students’ understanding of European governance and integration processes while strengthening cooperation between partner universities within the POSIG consortium.
