Eurasia International University is honored to open discussions with the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) on prospective cooperation. On 8 August 2025, a working meeting was held with the participation of the Head of the EPLO Regional Office in Georgia, H.E. Ambassador Ioseb Nanobashvili, EIU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ruben Markosyan, and EIU Jean Monnet Chair, Dr. Anna Khvorostiankina.
The meeting focused on practical steps for developing bilateral cooperation and the potential membership of EIU in EPLO’s Board of Directors.
EPLO is an international organization dedicated to creating and sharing knowledge in Public Law and Governance, and to promoting European values in order to develop a new generation of lawyers and democratic institutions worldwide.
The collaboration between the partners will combine EPLO’s academic and international development capacities with the expertise of the EIU Jean Monnet Chair in EU Legal Studies and Legal Europeanization. This partnership is expected to open new learning and professional development opportunities for students, facilitate faculty exchanges, and support targeted training on EU–Armenia CEPA implementation.
Founded on shared values of the rule of law, democracy, good governance, and human rights, this partnership aims to enhance high-quality EU studies and practical legal training, contributing to the approximation with the EU acquis in Armenia and the wider region.
