Bachelor in Elementary Pedagogy

The Elementary Pedagogy program at Eurasia International University is designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge in pedagogy, psychology, and emerging educational technologies, tailored to the needs of primary education.
Through this program, students gain an in-depth understanding of the principles underpinning effective teaching practices and the psychological factors influencing learning processes. Throughout their studies, students engage in hands-on learning experiences, working on projects and participating in practical activities within the renowned Ohanian Educational Complex and Newtonic Preschool, affiliated with Eurasia International University. Furthermore, collaboration with various cooperating schools provides students with diverse opportunities to apply their acquired knowledge in real-world educational settings. Successful implementation of acquired skills often paves the way for employment opportunities upon graduation.

Aligned with the latest educational standards set forth by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia in 2020, the program encompasses a broad range of fields of study essential for comprehensive primary education. These fields include:

Armenian Language and Literature: Students delve into the study of Armenian language and literature, fostering a deep appreciation for the cultural and literary heritage of Armenia.

Patriotism: The program instils values of patriotism and national identity, promoting a sense of belonging and civic responsibility among students.

Foreign Languages: Students develop proficiency in foreign languages, enabling effective communication and fostering global perspectives.

Natural Sciences, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Engineering, Mathematics (STEM): Through the exploration of STEM subjects, students cultivate critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities essential for success in the modern world.

  • Addresses the needs of students with special educational requirements, considering their rhetorical and developmental needs.
  • Describes the rights and responsibilities of students and teachers, as well as the ethical and legal norms governing relationships between individuals, society, and the environment.
  • Applies information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching process, aligned with the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu).
  • Plans, organizes, manages, and evaluates the educational process for junior high school students, including those with special educational needs.
