Master in Criminal Law

Our master’s education program in Jurisprudence aims to equip aspiring lawyers with comprehensive legal expertise. Our graduates are prepared to excel in various roles, from practising law to conducting advanced research and teaching.

  • Applies structured problem-solving frameworks to address specific, complex legal challenges in novel contexts within criminal law, criminal procedure, and penal enforcement domains, while proposing innovative solutions.

  • Renders well-founded legal decisions within the professional realms of criminal law, criminal procedure, and penal enforcement, and provides documented formulations for decisions made in legal cases; Drafts legal acts, and investigative, and procedural documents.

  • Interprets criminal legal, criminal procedural, and penal enforcement norms, alongside court precedents, while analyzing complex legal issues related to them, and offering legal assessments of the factual circumstances of investigated cases.

  • Prepares legal conclusions and offers quality advice and legal assistance.

  • Analyzes and interprets national legislation, as well as supranational and international legal principles and norms, encompassing relevant substantive and procedural frameworks.

  • Applies normative legal acts related to criminal law, criminal procedure, and penal enforcement fields, enforces material and procedural law norms, and independently formulates legal documents.

  • Works towards crime prevention, identifying, eliminating, and qualifying the factors contributing to their occurrence.

  • Analyzes situations encountered in investigative and judicial practices.

  • Accurately qualifies facts about the field of criminal law; Provides legal assessments in new or unfamiliar (non-standard) situations.

  • Guided by moral norms fostering tolerance, collaboration, and the promotion of mutual understanding across diverse groups, adheres to the ethical principles of a lawyer and conscientiously fulfils professional duties while combating manifestations of corruption.
