Today, the “SOS-Children’s Villages” Armenian Charitable Foundation and Eurasia International University, recognizing the significance of fostering a mutually beneficial dialogue between the academia and civil society for building just and sustainable communities and enhancing the quality of legal education in Armenia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
During the signing ceremony, Spartak Sargsyan, the National Director of the “SOS-Children’s Villages” Armenian Charitable Foundation, and Professor Dr. Suren Ohanyan, Rector of Eurasia International University, emphasized the shared commitment of both institutions to promoting equal access to legal information and justice and providing support to children facing challenging life circumstances and their families. The Parties proudly announced that, according to the reached agreement, Eurasia International‘s Legal Clinic will offer free legal assistance to the Foundation’s beneficiaries.
Furthermore, Eurasia International University will expand educational opportunities for beneficiaries of the “SOS-Children’s Villages” Armenian Charitable Foundation. These opportunities will include participation in regular courses, summer/winter school, and training sessions organized by EIU. Additionally, awareness-raising activities tailored to the needs of the Foundation’s beneficiaries will be held within the framework of this Memorandum, both in Yerevan and in the Foundation’s target regions.
