General description
The Bachelor of Journalism program offered by Eurasia International University is designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing them with the necessary foundation for a successful career in journalism or communications. By developing a range of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in media, communication, and management, students will be well-prepared for the competitive job market.
Through internships at the University’s Media Center, as well as at partner companies, students will gain hands-on experience in a variety of multimedia-related skills, enabling them to work in print, electronic, and broadcast media. Electives are also available, providing opportunities for students to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills that are applicable not only to journalism but also to other fields within communication.
One of the primary goals of the program is to enhance students’ language skills, which is essential for becoming a successful professional. Alongside theoretical courses, students will have the opportunity to work on real projects and undergo internships in various Armenian media, under the guidance of working journalists and media experts.
EIU places a strong emphasis on cooperation with journalistic organizations, print and electronic media, and news agencies, providing students with valuable networking opportunities and exposure to the industry.
The program’s objectives are to:
- Provide students with a modern and competitive education in journalism and media management.
- Prepare specialists who are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in the media field.
- Transfer practical knowledge and skills relevant to journalism, media industry, and management.
Develop students’ creative thinking, analytical and evaluative skills, as well as their ability to integrate and communicate effectively.
