Within the framework of “Erasmus+ KA 107” project, financed by EIU, Ani Hovasapyan, the staff member of EIU, participated in “ International Staff Training Week” in Warsaw School of Economics, Poland, from May 8 to 12, 2017.
The training was significant by the fact that the invited representatives of universities were not from UN member countries, but were active participants of Erasmus+ programme.
On the first day of the training the participants were welcomed by the vice rector, professor J. Prokop and the Director of International Centre E. Fonberg-Stokłuska . Afterwards, the training managers introduced the participants the characteristics of Poland’s higher education in general, and, in particular, as an example, the specifics of educational activities of Warsaw School of Economics.
During the training all the invited representatives had the opportunity to give a talk about the importance and common items of Erasmus+ programmes. They discussed with participants a number of questions concerning the organisation of students and staff members’ exchange, increasing of students’ awareness in universities, etc.
The training passed in a positive and productive working environment, and A. Hovasapyan hopes that the experience she gained will benefit in the expansion of EIU’s international practice.
It should be reminded that the cooperation with Warsaw School of Economics was established in February, 2015 and it is actively continuing up to now.
Many EIU students and staff members have the opportunity to leave for the above-mentioned university each year to continue studying, do lecturing and for trainings.
