Part-time education

• The part-time education at EIU is provided by blended teaching methods: in combination with face-to-face meetings online learning tools and innovative instructional technologies are also used.
• All the instructors upload the required materials to the MOODLE virtual classroom to which the students have access.
• The duration of the distant education is five years, as 240 credits are equally distributed within ten months.
• The academic program is comprised of two terms, and each term lasts four weeks.
• The subjects incorporated in the part-time education curriculum correspond to the ones designed for the full-time studies including the same modules and credits, yet, physical education is excluded from the distance education curriculum.
• As it is outlined in the academic program, students on part-time program are to submit individual projects (both under the supervision of instructors and independently).
