Today, on April 22, 2019, Eurasia International University hosted Maria Pascual Mora, Doctor of the Faculty of Physiology at the University of Valencia (Spain) who will deliver lectures within the framework of Erasmus + Teaching Staff Exchange Program, and Marta Piqueres Franco, Laboratory Assistant of the same Department. The representatives of the University of Valencia were hosted by Professor Suren Ohanyan, the Rector of Eurasia International University. The Rector welcomed the latter’s visit and expressed conviction that two-day lectures would be a significant contribution to the EIU and other higher education institutions’ students’ knowledge enrichment, and joint laboratory studies would contribute to the increase of students’ experiences. The Rector also affirmed that active collaboration between the University of Valencia and the Eurasia International University, amongst the students, faculty and staff exchange programs, contributes to the improvement of the EIU educational process from year to year.
During the first day of the visit, the representatives of the Valencia University had meetings and discussions with Irina Babayan, Vice-Rector for Educational Methodology and Scientific Affairs, and Arevik Ohanyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Center.
At the end of the first day EIU students-mentors organized a tour around Yerevan.
Tomorrow, on April 23, Dr. Maria Pascual Mora will deliver her first open-lecture on the topic of “Role of the TLR4 immune response in alcohol‐induced brain dysfunctions in a model of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).”
