On May 20, Eurasia International University hosted the  Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Armenia Mohammed-O-Jebour Al-Masoud and the representatives of the Embassy.

The distinguished guests met with the EIU Rector, Doctor of Science, Professor Suren Ohanyan, and the representatives of the university.

The honorable  Chargé d’Affaires and the representatives of the embassy got acquainted with the educational programs of the university, the quality assurance approaches, as well as with the requirements presented to the students. Possibilities of cooperation between EIU and the universities of the Republic of Iraq were discussed. Mr. Mohammed-O-Jebour Al-Masoudi thanked the Rector and the staff of EIU for organizing a high level of professional education for students asking to maintain the strict requirements towards the students and always ensure high expectations towards the graduates. The discussion was followed by a tour, during which the representatives of the embassy got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university, the classrooms equipped with new technologies, and laboratories.

In the near future, the EIU teaching and administrative staff will visit Iraq to study the country’s educational system and will expand cooperation with the universities of the Republic of Iraq in the field of both education and research.
