The “Reforming Doctoral Education in Armenia in line with Needs of Academia, Industry and Current EU Practices” (ARMDOCT) Erasmus + project was launched in January 2020. The Coordinator of the project Arevik Ohanyan (Director of the EIU Research Incubator), the Co-coordinator Arayik Navoyan (Vice-Rector of French University of Armenia), Lana Karlova (NEO Armenia, Project Coordinator) and Ani Torosyan (NEO Armenia, Project Responsible) are taking part in the Erasmus+ CBHE grant holders meeting in Brussels these days.
The ARMDOCT project addresses an urgent need in Reforming Doctoral Education (DE) in Armenia in line with the Salzburg Principles with the emphasis on policy, legal framework (including by-laws) and institutional procedures supporting integrative and internationally-oriented doctoral studies involving universities, research institutions and industry.
The project Unites experts of higher education institutions, scientific and research institutes and EU experts for a common goal of supporting the post-revolutionary RA government to reform doctoral education in the country.
