We are glad to announce that Anna Martirosyan has joined EIU team as the Head of Management Department. The newly-joined member is an innovative, Western-educated specialist, who had already been introduced to the activity of the Chair, clarified the vision and directions for the development of the Chair.
Anna Martirosyan graduated from the Finance and Credit Department of the Armenian State University of Economics with honors, studied at the University College London by “Luys” Foundation scholarship and received a Master’s Degree in Economics and Ph.D degree at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Worked at HSBC Bank, first in Customer and then in Finance Service. Afterwards worked as a Senior Expert of Financial Markets in USAID-funded Financial Sector Development Program, provided expert services to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia in the framework of the EU-funded project “Impact of Legislative Regulation in Armenia”.
2014-2016: Professor Assistant at the department of Economics of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, lecturer of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
2017: Lecturer at Department of Economic Theory and the Issues of Transition Period Economies
2017-2018: Economics and Finance Lecturer at “French University in Armenia” Foundation, ESP Teacher of Economics and Management.
Worked as a fundraising officer at the Union of Armenian Communities, completed the management of a number of EU funded projects such as “Constructive Dialogue Commitment”, “Citizens’ Voice in Larger Communities in Armenia” and “Covenant of Mayors East 2”.
2011-till now: provided grant proposal and business plan services to Armenian and foreign organizations.
