On April 23rd, 2021, the Scientific Council of Eurasia International University held an online session chaired by the President of the above-stated Council, Doctor of Science, Professor Suren Ohanyan.

Due to the anti-epidemic safety rules, the session was held simultaneously, both online and offline. The Council addressed the issues stated on the agenda, in particular, the members of the session approved the review of some terms in bachelor’s research and master’s thesis preparation and defense procedures, on which Mariam Jilavyan, Head of the EIU Quality Assurance Center, made proposals.

One of the points on the agenda was to summarize the results of the spring mid-term exams of the 2020-2021 academic year, about which the deans of faculties spoke. Evaluating the process of organizing the examination productive, they gave suggestions.

During the session, Mary Shahbazyan, Head of the Career Development and Employers’ Relations Center, the issue of cooperation with Armenian colleges was also touched upon, as a result, it was decided to form a platform for exchanging the best practices with colleges.

The members of the Academic Council also discussed the issues related to scientific education and made decisions on overcoming them.

Summing up the session, Mr. Ohanyan stated that the issues raised during the session and the decisions made for the latter will create preconditions from the point of view of effective organization of learning processes.
