On December 15, an information session on Jean Monnet’s Actions took place at the Eurasia International University in the frames of the “Erasmus+ Information Days 2023”.
The meeting launched with the welcome speech of Lana Karlova, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia, who informed the participants about the opening of the Erasmus+ 2024 Call for proposals, briefly presented the Erasmus+ actions available for Armenia and their deadlines.
The main speaker of the meeting was Anna Khvorostiankina, head of the Law Department at Eurasia International University, who has considerable experience in the design and implementation of Jean Monnet projects, in particular, she is the academic coordinator of the “EUSecJuris” Jean Monnet Module, and the Jean Monnet Chair in “EU Legal Studies and Legal Europeanization” / EuroLaw.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the international relations offices of Armenian universities, as well as several representatives of the academic staff interested in the creation of modules in the field of EU studies.
Anna Khvorostyankina presented them with the Jean Monnet Actions, the available funding opportunities, and the conditions for applying for them, as well as shared her own experience with the participants, presenting the features of the Jean Monnet module and chair coordinated by her.
At the end of the event, an intensive Q&A session took place between the participants and the speaker.
The deadline for Jean Monnet Actions is 2024 February 1.
