The “Intellectual Property Rights Club” human rights NGO announced the 2020 annual Intellectual Property and Information Technology competition, the announcement of which was widely spread out among students of the Law faculty of EIU.
Tigran Sargsyan, a first-year master’s student majoring in Civil Law and Litigation, applying to the program, valued the proficiency in regulating trademark law more than ever. He participated in the competition with “Problems of legal protection of a trademark in the context of consumer interests and economic competition” work which was directly related to the topic of his master’s thesis.
In his research, Tigran made comparative legal analyzes, as a result of which the gaps in the legal regulations of intellectual property were identified and his vision of the legal regulation of the trademark was presented.
The competition was held in two rounds: after successful completion of the first round he participated in the second round which was organized on online domain and was evaluated by the best experts in the field of intellectual property.
We congratulate Tigran for achieving leading positions in the above-stated competition and wish him new achievements and success in the scientific field.
