On September 14th, 2020 the Scientific Council of Eurasia International University held a session which was chaired by the President of the above-stated Council, Doctor of Science, Professor Suren Ohanyan.

Following the anti-contagion safety rules, the council addressed the issues on the agenda during the face-to-face meeting. One of the key points of the session was to finalize the “Ohanyan” scholarship contest, according to which the students with the highest scores in professional education during the 2019-2020 academic year received full or partial scholarships for their further education.

The Council also approved the launch of the “Eurasia” Research Scholarship Contest, in which only master’s students can participate.

The possible options for cooperation with mid-level educational institutions in the new academic year were also discussed at the above-stated session.

Mariam Jilavyan, Head of EIU Quality Assurance Center submitted the analysis of the annual survey conducted among the EIU students and staff as well as reports of the 4th quarter of 2019-2020, to the Academic Council for approval. As suggested by M. Jilavyan the Council also discussed the preparation of the first report to be submitted to ANQA.

Appropriate decisions were made on the issues stated the agenda. Summing up the session, President Ohanyan stated that the issues discussed and the decisions made during the session will lead to more effective operational solutions in the new academic year.
