Capacity Building Workshops

Eiva Arts Foundation in close collaboration with Eurasia International University invites English language teachers to participate in a series of capacity building workshops focusing on implementing gamified education in classrooms and incorporating ARVEST art game as a vehicle in teaching English communication. The essence of this teaching methodology is hacking the tradition classroom studies and promoting content based learning of English language in Armenia.

Learning Outcomes
The participants will be able to:
➡ Add artistic and child-centered agenda, teaching and learning methods to the traditional language teaching.
➡ Raise children’s interest and motivation in the language studies by gamified education.
➡ Contribute to the development of communications, negotiations, presentation skills, as well as creative and critical thinking of students through the methods introduced during the trainings.
➡ Present the rich Armenian cultural heritage through ARVEST art card game to students.

IMPORTANT
☑ Upon conclusion of the workshop, teachers will be provided with ARVEST art card games and special user guidelines to utilize the resources in their classes.
☑ The workshops and the resources are free of charge for teachers.
☑ Participation of teachers from the regions is particularly encouraged. It’s worth mentioning that the transportation costs for the participants from Marzes will be covered by the foundation.
☑ Upon completion the teachers will receive Certificates of participation.
☑ The overall duration of workshops is 3 hours (during one day)

The participants selection will be based on their motivation to participate, commitment to use the resource at their classes and report on the effectiveness of the resource to Eiva Arts Foundation.
