On March 22, Eurasia International University hosted a meeting titled ” Harmony CBHE Impact Monitoring Visit”, which was delivered by Arevik Ohanyan, Head of the EIU Quality Assurance Center. Lana Karlova, Programme Coordinator of National Erasmus + Office in Armenia, Edith Soghomonyan, Programme Officer of National Erasmus + Office in Armenia, Angelina Hovhannisyan, Representative of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and the EIU Subdivision Heads took part in the meeting. A. Ohanian presented theresults of Development of Approaches To Harmonization Of A Comprehensive Internationalization Strategies In Higher Education, Research And Innovation.
In her report, A. Ohanian spoke in detail about 5 major components of the EIU Internationalization Strategic Program: Internationalization of Management and Staff, Promotion of Outgoing and Incoming Student Mobility and Increase of International Students, Internationalization of Curriculum and of Educational Program, Internationalization of Research and International Cooperation, Increase of EIU International Visibility. An active discussion was held among the participants on the aforementioned components and recommendations.
Considering the project as the best practice, an agreement was reached to disseminate it among Armenian HEIs by organizing a meeting with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Project Partners.
It should be added that a series of research results include the Eastern and Western European Action Plan for Higher Education Internationalization, National Policy Analysis in Higher Education and Research, Stage Analysis of Higher Education Internationalization in Partner Countries, and Internationalization Strategy tools.
