MANAGEMENT AND IT
Established in 1996, the chair of Management and Information Technologies awards the following qualifications:
- Bachelor in Management
- Master in Management
- Doctor in Economics (N of specialization H-00.02)
All the three specializations are state accredited and include professional courses on management, economics, finances and business. Most of the faculty members of the chair are highly qualified professionals employed at such reputable organizations as “Garant Insurance”, “VTB Armenia”, “KPMG”, Central Bank of Armenia, “Armhotels”, and many other companies.
The chair cooperates with a number of state and private organizations. In particular, among the partners of the chair we would like to highlight the RA Ministry of Finances, Department of the State Property Management by the Government of the RA, Kanaker-Zeytun and Arabkir administrative districts, a number of banks, insurance companies as well as industrial and commercial organizations.
As a result of close and productive collaboration, a number of students from the chair have already been employed at “Garant Insurance” ICJSC, RA Ministry of Finances, “Adamand” commodity exchange in Yerevan, “Ukr Trans Voyage” and many other partner companies.
Adjunct to the chair of Management and Information Technologies has been established a business school, where the students have the chance to practically apply their theoretical knowledge: EIU students provide business consulting along with examining real-life cases. EIU business school provides consulting service free of charge. The providers are the EIU faculty and senior students of the chair of Management and Information Technologies.
Mr. Artur Voskyanyan, a highly qualified professional specialized in the field of financial management of organizations, vice-president of “Fertility center company responsible for the economic growth of the organization, supervises the performance of the Business School. Mr. Voskyanyan has more than twenty years of experience of providing business consulting.
Business School organizes trainings, workshops, discussions, meetings, presentations and other activities at the university and other schools on a regular basis.
