EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

Student exchange programs grant students the opportunity to live abroad, get acquainted with the foreign culture and language as well as acquire academic knowledge and expertise. Eurasia International University in collaboration with International relations and research center ensures exceptional opportunities of studying abroad for EIU students. EIU implements the following students exchange programs:

  1. programs funded by the EU
  2. programs funded by EIU, host university and partly covered by the student
  3. programs for the students who are capable of covering all the costs

Eurasia International University in collaboration with International relations and research center ensures exceptional opportunities for EIU students to study abroad. Since the year of 2011 EIU has actively participated to the three consortiums of the Erasmus Mundus project, namely ALRAKIS I, ALRAKIS II and MID. Within the framework of these projects, the university granted EU scholarships to its students, researchers and professionals to study abroad, take part in various trainings as well as hosted international students within the framework of the project. Since the year 2015 all the projects have been renamed and are currently implement under Erasmus + program. EIU persists serving its students and faculty ensuring the opportunities of studying at the best European universities both within the framework of Erasmus + program and through the mutual agreements with various universities.

The International relations and research center of the Eurasia International University provides EIU students exception opportunities to study abroad.

As a result of the extensive collaboration between EIU and partner universities, currently there are six available exchange programs funded by the EU. The partner universities offering exchange opportunities are:

  1. Warsaw University of Life Sciences
  2. Warsaw School of Economics
  3. Middle-East University in Turkey
  4. Masaryk University in Czech Republic
  5. Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius
  6. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
  7. University of Santiago de Compostela
  8. Valencia University
  9. Cyprus Technological University
  10. University of Lodz, Poland

The exchange program is implemented within the framework of Erasmus + program. European Union allocates a monthly scholarship of €700-800 for accommodation and other expenses. The sponsors of the project cover transportation fees as well.

As it has been mentioned, not only EIU students are eligible to study abroad within the Erasmus + student exchange project, but the university also hosts international students who arrive to Armenia for academic purposes. Similarly, the students of all the mentioned international universities are eligible for student exchange program and may transfer to Armenia to study at EIU.

Mutual Agreements

International collaboration program with Vilnius university: student and faculty exchange, free of charge tuition, accommodation and scholarships.

As always Eurasia International University strives to keep its standards high and in accordance with its name the university intensively collaborates with various international institutions of higher education. EIU not only equips its students with quality knowledge, but also provides an opportunity to its students and faculty to study or to participate to workshops and trainings abroad.

Recently the university has signed a mutual agreement with Vilnius University, Republic of Lithuania.  The central goal of the agreement is mutual discussion or research and development strategies, exchange of professional experience as well as joint research projects.
Vilnius University in collaboration with Eurasia International University agreed to promote exchange projects for students and faculty, organize joint conferences, workshops and trainings, exchange scientific publications, research projects and innovative accomplishments in the field of science.

According to the agreement, accommodations free of charge are to offered to exchange students and faculty members along with the €60 monthly scholarship.

Other exchange opportunities

Based on the mutual agreement of EIU and European universities, EIU students also have the opportunity to participate to self-funded exchange projects at one of the partner European universities. Currently, the following universities are available as partner institutions of higher education:

  • Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU)
  • London University of Business and Finances (EIU students enjoy 10% scholarship for the tuition fee)
