The mission of the academic program

The academic program aims to prepare qualified professionals in the field of Information Systems equipped with thorough knowledge about the information systems and technologies. The graduates of the program are competent developers, server and network computer administrators, information security professionals proficient in the field of their performance and corresponding to the requirements of both national and international labor market.

The academic program targets

Based on the Mission and the Academic Strategy (2014-2018) of the Eurasia International University the academic program targets the following:

 Education

  1. Create collaborative environment in order to offer the education corresponding to both national and European quality assurance standards and the market demand
  2. Offer the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities for students to obtain both practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of information systems and technologies
  3. Provide students with the required general knowledge and skills appropriate for information systems professional
  4. Contribute to the competitiveness of the students in the market as well as their development as full members of the society who possess analytical thinking and profound knowledge in their professional field
  5. Encourage students to become life-long learners and always strive towards improvement and continuous self-development

  1. Encourage the implementation of the students’ research and innovative initiatives by introducing research methods to them
  2. Conduct research aimed to modernize and internationalize the vocational education

Admissions requirements

The applicant should posses the School Certificate of General Secondary Education, or diploma on vocational education with the final transcript (attestat) approving the completion of general or professional secondary education.

Employment opportunities

The students who have successfully graduated the Information Systems program may be employed in both national and international private organizations as information system and technology competent professionals. All the graduates of the program may work as developers, server admins, system admins, database developers, as well as information security and protection specialists. They have also further perspectives as group leaders, project managers, information system and technology system security officers, and many other leading positions.

Information systems development The specialization of information systems development offers thorough knowledge about the basics of informatics, operating systems, web development, theory of algorithms, modern coding languages, as well as creating of databases, data protection and information security methods.
Management information systems The specialization of management information systems offers thorough knowledge about the basics of informatics, operating systems, web development, theory of algorithms, modern coding languages, as well as creating of databases, data protection and information security methods.

Required documents

  • A valid statement (with a photo) on the completion of the high school approved by the head of the school or an official diploma with the final transcript (attestat) after high school graduation (the school graduates of previous years are to submit a certificate on the completion of the secondary education or diploma)
  • 6 photos (sized 3×4 cm)
  • A document on the eligibility for the army service (call-up age)
  • A valid identification document (passport, ID card, military service card, birth certificate, refugee certificate)
  • Military service card and the statement form the military committee on the completion of the compulsory military service
  • Certificates or diplomas of participation to state and international competitions (fests, Olympiads etc.)
  • The payment receipt of participation to each of the university entrance exams and documents admissions (the fee is 1500 AMD)
  • The deadline for the submission of the admission documents is August 26, 2017. All the school graduate students of the 2016-2017 academic year, army-differed students (Spring 2017), international applicants as well as the applicants who possess secondary processional education are urged to follow the deadline.
